A Lesson on Compassion at the 2014 Sochi Olympics

It may have taken him twice as long to finish as everyone else, but Russian Skier Anton Gafarov got a standing ovation, as did the guy that helped him out when he broke a ski. That other guy was Canadian Ski Coach Justin Wadsworth. When Anton’s ski broke, Justin ran out with a replacement and helped Anton change his ski out so that he could finish.

In true Olympic spirit, Justin helped out an opponent from a nation that not too many people are found of right now, but he did the right thing. And we love him for it.
