Are you tired of carrying around your selfie stick all the time? Well, that’s a thing of the past! New York-based shoe store Miz Mooz is promoting “selfie shoes” for those looking for the latest in tech sensation.

Basically (maybe hypothetically, but totally doable) you would dock your phone in the selfie shoe and then take a picture by pressing a sensor with your toe. In a fake ad for the $199 shoes, Cheryl Matson, Miz Mooz’s director of design had this to say:

The selfie stick is a great solution to a problem. But in turn it’s created a new problem: carrying it. This was our opportunity to create something even greater.

The Clunky ‘Selfie Stick’ vs the Super Fashionable ‘Selfie Shoe’

Just think about it – how many great pictures have you wanted to get but you’re missing an arm or sort of look like a chicken with short arms? Miz Mooz is making FULL BODY pictures a reality!

A Miz Mooz representative confirmed that this “prank” is part of a very clever marketing campaign for them, but, honestly, we wouldn’t be surprised if this bizarre little gadget becomes a real thing. Very, very soon.

You might want to prepare yourself juuust in case. Plan on doing some leg stretches tonight!

Who knows, one day this could be a reality… truth is often stranger than fiction.
